Proposed Placing

Proposed Placing of up to 9.99% of existing issued ordinary share capital.

Filtrona announces the placing of up to 21,142,613 million new ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company, representing up to approximately 9.99% of the Company's existing issued ordinary share capital (excluding Treasury Shares). The Placing is being conducted through an accelerated book-building process which will be launched immediately following this announcement.
